Well, lots has happened in the last 2 months,

First there was easter, and there are some pics of egg making, and some cool sunglasses MK got in her easter basket.

Then some time she got her face painted again, She loves getting her face painted!

Then Marc & Brooke and kids came up for an unexpected mothers day surprise for my mom, it was great to have all the grandkids together at once. and Tiff & Ryan had their new baby boy Kbrandon (with a silent k) hehe

I took MK and Aden on a couple motorbike rides around the block on patricks bike. Zoom Zoom. Im getting close to buying one again myself.

Then there are pics of the kids and us guys playing in the basement on adens scooter, amazingly enough that thing holds me up!! dont tell brooke! Shhhh

Some time in June we went to Calaway Park with the whitehead and wrides, it was fun fun fun, MK loves all the rides! and for some reason everytime we go she asks me to take her through the haunted house!!! I hated the hounted house till i was like 16!! She is way braver than me!

Then MK had her Dance Recital practice!... (click here to read the rest)

Okay so here is an update for the last month.

Makayla had some Skiiing lessons at COP and afterwards we headed to the Ski Jumps, we went to the top of the jump up the glass elevator, but i forgot my camera in the car, but atleast i aws able to get a good pic from the bottom looking up!

We also were able to go Skating with Ryan, Tiff, Landon and Samantha on McKenzie lake.

Makayla was able to move a little bit on her own with out holding onto anything but needed assistance for the most part. I took a sweet tumble and bonked my Knee pretty good but im okay now.

the same night that we went skating we ended up having to drive home through a random blizzard, it took about 2 hours to get home. It was crazy fun, for me anyways. Cars were stopped all over Deerfoot, it was actually easier to drive without lights on, becuase the glare from the headlights was near blinding due to the blowing snow.

MK and Aspen enjoyed many days playing outside in the snow, MK will eat snow 24/7 if we let her.

MK also had a friend grace from school over, they played dress... (click here to read the rest)

We'll here are 16 pictures from the last month of our lives.

Makayla and Jen apparently went to to zoo at some point, hence the picture of makayla inside a Kangaroo. ill assume they had a good time as i wasnt there.

Then Makayla was more than excited about Valentines day this year at Preschool, she gave and received plenty of fun fun fun cards and stuff.

Then there is me and my new found hobby of Nerf Guns, I had an idea to have Nerf Wars for activities for a church activity and went out and  bought 20 nerf guns, I then proceeded to mod the guns so they shoot hard, faster and farther than normal, i am able to increase the distance from 30 ft to 50ft + pretty good if you ask me, Then i was able to make 240 home made dart bullets with FBR, BB Bullets and a hot glue gun. from start to finish, modding guns and makign darts took about 8 hours over 3 days. But i think its worth it. Makayla also enjoys shooting th edart guns in the basement with daddy every now and then. I still havent yet had an activity with the guns though... Well another month, (nearly two) has passed since I last posted.

And so much has happened I will have a hard time remember it all. So perhaps Jen can update all that I missed when she reads this.

Anyways, before Christmas MK had a school christmas party which was again pretty fun. Lots of singing, 8 different crafts and food! She did a great job singing as per usual and I think she is still the tallest or 2nd tallest child in her preschool.

Then Christmas can and went like a lightening bolt, there as lots of family in town.

Marc and Brooke and kids were in town for the christmas festivities, which is alwasy great!! we love it when they come up and play as we dont get down to Utah much at all anymore. We are still hoping they will move up here after they are done school, which may never happen!

MK had a great christmas as per usual, she is very much into Princess this and Princess that. And she is getting much better at using her imagination and playing with herself or her stuffed animals.

Then new years eve came, which was a really exciting time for our family and Patrick returned home... (click here to read the rest)

Well another month and a half has zoomed by once again.

I seem to find myself running out of time more and more these days. I think most of that is self inflicted though.

Anyways, ive attached a bunch of pics of MK to bring you all up to speed.

Major News is as Follows!!

Jen got her hair done recently and went back to basics more or less with a new black/brown combo instead of the usual brown blonde look. Personally I love the new look and hope she keeps it this way.

The death of a Legend - thats right folks.. due to the recent and lengthy cold snap we have been experiencing in calgary I have been forced to retire the Ford Festiva that i and so many of you have grown to love over the last 2.5 years. It is with a sad heart that I write this little note.

On a happier side, Due the the untimely passing of my beloved festiva a new vehcile has entered my heart rather quickly might I ad. So it is with great joy and thanksgiving that i announce that we are the new rightful owners of a 2009 Kia Rondo EX-V6. Its pretty sweet i... (click here to read the rest)

So time has once again slipped by without me making any sort of account on our activities so this will be full of picutres and short on details. There are 17 pictures!!

All details can be discussed by sending an e-mail to jengilchrist@shaw.ca and please put "Your Husband was short on details" in the subject line.

To further speed up the response I would also recommend sending Jen a facebook message.

hehe.

So heres whats been going on.

In the summer we did soem dog sitting for Ryan and Tiff. SO we had Lacey for a week or so. Aspen and Lacey played very well together and Makayla enjoyed haveing two dogs to boss around. Lacey is so laid back, MK can pick her up, put her down pretty much do anything you want to Lacey and she just goes along with it. Aspen is now fully potty trained. I taught her how to speak and to be quiet. she is better at speaking than being quiet but thats another story, and i thaught her to speak at teh back door when she needs to go out. She will ever go from upstairs to the main floor and bark to be let out. so... (click here to read the rest)

So this summer, we had the pleasure of having Jen's mom Shirley living with us for about 1.5 months.

I must say I liked it, 3 adults doing chores makes much less work..

And Shirley I have to say thank you to you for all the cooking you did too while you were here!!!! Cause we all know I love to eat!

Oh and there are two or 3 pics of Lacey, Ryan and Tiffs dog who were were so blessed to get to house sit for 2 weeks... did i mention we had two dogs in our house during to summer, and that both werent potty trained fully... did i mention that yet.

That also reminds me, I think its time Jen and I took  little trip our selves and let a certain brother watch my dog. mwahaha. But it just wouldnt be the same since shes now mostly potty trained.. oh well.

Anyways, here are some pics of us all going to Elbow Falls adn the dogs and MK etc... etc... etc...

So the main reason besides visiting family was to be there to watch Kim get married...

It was a great wedding and I must say the Bride, my wife and the flower girl were all smashing.

I didnt look to bad myself... but truth be told I do work out.. j/k

Anyways, Ive added a lot of pics of them getting ready for the weeding, at teh wedding and after the wedding. i unfortunately didnt get any good pics of MK walking down the isle but im sure some of Heathers friends/family would have atleast one not blurry picutre of it.

Im not going to write much more since this is more of a Jen post then a Jon post.... so with that great ending to this post i bid you all farewell until the next post.

So this summer we had a special wedding to go to. Makayla's birth mom Kim was getting married!!!! and Makayla was the flower girl!

But more on that later,

This post is about are travels to and our stay in Williams Lake, Which is actually not true since Barry and Heather live on Felker Lake... anyways its close to williams lake.

So we stayed at the big hotel on another lake on the way there. Let just say I wasnt impressed by the services or the food. But I can now say ive stayed in the hotel with the big red roof in the mountains.

The morning after we went to the Enchanted Forrest!! I have always wanted to go there since I was a kid. Its one of those places as a kid you drive by on the highway and beg your parents to stop but they never do.

Anyways, it was a blast, and MK was the perfect age for it too. It was chalk full of fairy tale creatures and small houses you could go in and even like a 100 foot tall tree house that you can go all the way to the top in. It was really cool!!

And they even had... (click here to read the rest)
