So heres whats been going on.

In the summer we did soem dog sitting for Ryan and Tiff. SO we had Lacey for a week or so. Aspen and Lacey played very well together and Makayla enjoyed haveing two dogs to boss around. Lacey is so laid back, MK can pick her up, put her down pretty much do anything you want to Lacey and she just goes along with it. Aspen is now fully potty trained. I taught her how to speak and to be quiet. she is better at speaking than being quiet but thats another story, and i thaught her to speak at teh back door when she needs to go out. She will ever go from upstairs to the main floor and bark to be let out. so... (click here to read the rest)

So a couple weeks ago we had the Whiteheads and the Bournes over for an afternoon of water slides, bouncer time and foolin around in the pool.

I think the kids had a great time getting soaked. and If memory serves me well a certain Mr. Whitehead also indulged in teh childhood past time of slip n' slide!! (perhaps there are phoots)

So this summer, we had the pleasure of having Jen's mom Shirley living with us for about 1.5 months.

I must say I liked it, 3 adults doing chores makes much less work..

And Shirley I have to say thank you to you for all the cooking you did too while you were here!!!! Cause we all know I love to eat!

Oh and there are two or 3 pics of Lacey, Ryan and Tiffs dog who were were so blessed to get to house sit for 2 weeks... did i mention we had two dogs in our house during to summer, and that both werent potty trained fully... did i mention that yet.

 That also reminds me, I think its time Jen and I took  little trip our selves and let a certain brother watch my dog. mwahaha. But it just wouldnt be the same since shes now mostly potty trained.. oh well.

So the main reason besides visiting family was to be there to watch Kim get married...

It was a great wedding and I must say the Bride, my wife and the flower girl were all smashing.

I didnt look to bad myself... but truth be told I do work out.. j/k

Anyways, Ive added a lot of pics of them getting ready for the weeding, at teh wedding and after the wedding. i unfortunately didnt get any good pics of MK walking down the isle but im sure some of Heathers friends/family would have atleast one not blurry picutre of it.

Im not going to write much more since this is more of a Jen post then a Jon post.... so with that great ending to this post i bid you all farewell until the next post.

So this summer we had a special wedding to go to. Makayla's birth mom Kim was getting married!!!! and Makayla was the flower girl!

But more on that later,

This post is about are travels to and our stay in Williams Lake, Which is actually not true since Barry and Heather live on Felker Lake... anyways its close to williams lake.

So we stayed at the big hotel on another lake on the way there. Let just say I wasnt impressed by the services or the food. But I can now say ive stayed in the hotel with the big red roof in the mountains.

 The morning after we went to the Enchanted Forrest!! I have always wanted to go there since I was a kid. Its one of those places as a kid you drive by on the highway and beg your parents to stop but they never do.

Anyways, it was a blast, and MK was the perfect age for it too. It was chalk full of fairy tale creatures and small houses you could go in and even like a 100 foot tall tree house that you can go all the way to the top in. It was really cool!!

Again, This is an update.

 Back in late July I built the fence, deck, a shed, and layed the sod.

I had great help from Marc, Dan, Jen and Shirley on the fence. It was up in under 2 days!!

The deck i got help from Marc it was up in 1 day!!

The shed was also done in one day with help from Ryan and Marc!

And the Sod was again done in 1 day with lots of help from Evan, Kristy, Jen, and Shirley.

We also had a small pizza party after as well to celebrate our yard being done.

Oh and did I mention we have a small garden too!!

Hip hip horray for us. no more mud in the back door!!

So here are some more pics from July when MK graduated from her 1st year in preschool.

Its followed up with a picture of her and Aspen sleeping on the couch after a long long day!!

Again this is an old post that i was never able to post until now. Jut getting caught up you could say!

Here are some pics of us at the Stampede. We went early on kids day so we oculd all get in for Free!

IT was great, it was pretty darn HOT!! Thankfully we had some breaks by going indoors for the DOg show and some other things.

 The kids were able to go on plenty of rides, and us adults went back later in teh evening for the big kids rides!!

We even went on this one swing ride that takes you way up in the air, and teice during the ride the thing felt like it dropped up about 1 foot. and it got stuck upon lowering us to the ground too it was great.

Oh and did i mention that I won at Wac-a-mole and Jen won her bowling game that you see at Chuck-e-cheese.

Anyways it was great fun and it was even better to be able to go with family.

We also hung out briefly with the whiteheads in the early morning. and say some other friends as well.

Okay so this post is actually from July.. but ive been having technical difficulties.. Ill try and get caught up on posts over the weekend.

So a couple weeks Marc, Brooke, Ryan, Tiffm Jen and I took the kids to Calaway Park...

Here are some pics to prove it.

The kids of course had an awesome time...

We had cotton candy which was a huge success with Samantha.. She keep beggin me for more, and I being the nicest of the brothers happily ablidged!!

We had some yummy corn dogs, french fries, pop and ice cream near the end of the day,

And i also won a medium sized birdy thingy at Wac-a-mole.

 A bunch of the kids and adults also went on the childs drop of doom i guess you could call it. And based on the pics I have it looked like the only scared person was Marc hehe.

 Oh and that morning there was a stampede breakfast at our church. Ross & Niki Melchin were there with new baby in tow and Lamont and Sharlee Giles were also there with baby Zander.

Well I guess you could say these are long over due. But Today is the day Ill get all caught up...

First off we have Makayla Graduating from Preschool last month! She got a nice certificate and they also had a party!! I wasnt there, but Jen went.

It looks like they had lots of fun.

 There is also a Picture Marc took of himself with my camera so Im assuming that he wanted me to post it... why else would he take the picture?

And then we have Makayla and Aspen sound asleep on the couch together. It must have been an exhausting day!!
